Hi! I'm Alison. I've been pet sitting and dog walking in the Wimborne area since 2013. Cats, dogs, rabbits, it really doesn't matter, I love looking after them all and spending time with each one is precious. I also offer dog behaviour consultations, so if I can help with any behaviour issues please get in touch. If you check-out my Reviews you'll see my work has made owners and their pets happy. Happy Pets Homecare by name, happy by nature! I undertake pet sitting within a 5-mile radius and dog behaviour consultations in Dorset and parts of Hampshire.

I offer cat sitting and pop-in visits (for other small animals too) around the Wimborne vicinity. This saves the stress of uprooting cats from their home territory and I will feed them, attend to all their needs and lavish them with attention whilst you are away. I also offer a dog walking service for solo or small groups which allows me to spend lots of quality time with your dog.
Unlike many pet sitters, I don't have logos or any information on my vehicle because these would draw attention to your absence. Whether you just want to go away for the day, or on holiday, please feel free to contact me to discuss your pet’s needs. I would be delighted to help and have numerous testimonials for your peace of mind. I am fully insured, police checked, qualified in dog first aid, and a member of the National Association of Registered Pet Sitters (Narps UK). I also carry out home checks on behalf of a local animal rescue charity. |
Dog Behaviour Consultations
I have many years experience handling dogs and have a Level 4 Advanced Canine Behaviour Diploma as well as a psychology degree. I attend regular courses and seminars to ensure my knowledge and methods are up to date and are therefore consistently the most effective ways to help with issues that you may have with your dog's behaviour. I use a holistic approach to find the root cause of the problem. This therefore enables changes to be made to unwanted behaviour through understanding the psychology of the dog, and dog and owner co-operation. This method of behaviour modification will improve the trust and mutual respect of both owner and dog and lead to a more peaceful life for both.
Some behaviours can be changed relatively quickly whilst other issues can take longer. Both one off consultations or longer term support packages are available so we can work together to resolve any problems. Please feel free to contact me by message, phone or email for an initial discussion so we can start to find the right solution for you and your dog. |
